Bring your laptop and your ideas: Hacktoberfest Hack Day Esbjerg is a one-day, beginner-friendly build event where you ship something real with open-source or open-weight AI!
Formats
How a Cod3rs hackathon works
Two formats so far, plus an online challenge over the summer.
24-hour hackathon
At Hack Esbjerg, participants form teams of 2–5, pick a challenge, build a prototype over 24 hours and pitch it to judges. Mentors are around throughout, and food and refreshments are provided.
Hack days
Shorter events of three to six hours where you go from idea to working demo, on your own or with a team you find on the day. Our hack days are part of the MLH (Major League Hacking) network, and registration goes through the MLH events page.
Who can join
The events are beginner-friendly: you do not need hackathon or AI experience. They are aimed at students, working professionals and anyone curious about code. Each event page says exactly who it is open to and how to register.
What to bring
Your laptop and charger. Each event page lists anything else.
Where
The Esbjerg events take place at Business Academy Southwest (EASV), on the west coast of Denmark.
